Learn Basketball – Leichhardt is an active and engaging sports workshop designed for children aged 8–10 who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, supportive environment. Through skill-based drills, modified games and guided practice, participants will develop core basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork.
The session focuses on building confidence, coordination and sportsmanship while encouraging children to stay active and enjoy movement. Coaches create an inclusive atmosphere where all skill levels are welcome, helping children learn how to follow rules, work cooperatively with others, and develop a positive attitude towards physical activity. This program supports both physical development and social wellbeing while making learning sport enjoyable and accessible.
